We also received the following email from our long-time friends, Herb and Nancy Clark, who are serving in Charlie's mission:

Bishop and Sister Bollard,

I thought I would let you know we were able to spend a few minutes with your outstanding missionary today at a training meeting.  He looks wonderful and happy!  He seems to be adapting well and said he is very much enjoying the work.  He is very kind to us and passed on your regards.

I made the mistake of asking how Mom was doing.  He handled it very well and takes comfort in the fact that you are open and honest with him about the health situation.  He was a little emotional - showed mostly in his eyes.  He prays for you every day and very much appreciates the fact that you can feel his pleadings with Heavenly Father.  He is a great young man that will be able to deal with what comes and be an even more dedicated missionary in the process.

We love him.  He looks so much like his brothers and parents - kind of scary.

We love you and pray that you feel the Saviors love for you and your family.
